James D. Vick is a partner in the Salem law firm of Vick & Glantz, LLP, where he focuses his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, trial practice, and insurance disputes. With broad general business interests, Mr. Vick is also knowledgeable in trying general civil litigation cases involving matters such as real estate development and construction law. In addition to trying cases at Vick & Glantz, Mr. Vick serves as a mediator/arbitrator for personal injury cases with the United States Arbitration and Mediation of Oregon, Inc.
Mr. Vick is certified as a Specialist in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has taught Trial Practice at Willamette University College of Law and has authored articles for the Oregon Trial Lawyers Magazine. He has served as the Chairperson of the Citizens Advisory Traffic Commission for the City of Salem and is an instrument-rated and multiengine-rated private pilot.
