Carol K. Shieh obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. While attending law school, Carol served as an extern for the Honorable Bernard G. Skomal, U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. Carol also served as a Student Comment Editor for the San Diego International Law Journal and as a Teaching Fellow for Torts. Upon graduation, Carol worked at a boutique law firm, defending businesses in the areas of premises liability and construction defect. Before law school, Carol attended the University of California, San Diego, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science and a minor in Chinese studies. Carol’s practice focuses on employment and labor defense.
