Cassie Bolten grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, graduating with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies. During college, Cassie interned at the Marine Mammal Pathobiology Lab where she did research on the Florida Manatee. After college she moved to Tempe, Arizona, to attend the Arizona State University College of Law.
During law school, Cassie interned for the Target Corporation, the Scottsdale City Attorney's Office, the Criminal Division of the San Diego City Attorney, Äôs Office, and the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office. She was also a research assistant for a college of law professor and volunteered for the Arizona Justice Project. After graduating law school cum laude, Cassie returned to the San Diego City Attorney's Office where she gained valuable trial experience.
When she is not at the office, Cassie can be found in the yoga studio, by the pool, at the beach, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, traveling, hiking, or spending time with her husband, Chris, and their two dogs.
