Naturally, Mark has an "origin story" as well as being a lawyer. Why he chose to be an injury lawyer...
Mark was in the eighth grade in Louisiana when his friend, Joe, got injured in truck crash due to an irresponsible driver. Mark watched Joe get taken advantage of by both substandard medical care, and the insurance company. Sadly, Joe, being at a young age, never brought an injury claim, which was his legal right…this was in part due to misinformation, and improper guidance from his family. Years later, Mark realized this is why insurance companies will avoid taking responsibility if they can, and it was the inspiration for Mark to go to law school to make a difference for ordinary people in the community.
Today, Mark has been, and still is, the voice for those injured due to people choosing to violate common sense safety rules that we all hold as important. If you have been injured, Mark offers 8 FREE injury Ebooks for your legal questions. Learn secrets the insurance companies would rather not have you know at www.blanelaw.com/reports/
Remember, your injury case may not even need a lawyer, but every case needs important information from an experienced lawyer so important decisions can be made on what to do next. Take action now, to be informed, and get the knowledge you need, so you, and those you love, will not be taken advantage of by the insurance companies.
Mark recognized early in his career that he wanted to represent ordinary people instead of corporate interests. He enjoys the courtroom and understands the necessity of having jury trials available when needed to right the wrongs of those injured by the negligence of others. Some of Mark’s early successes have been featured in national publications and legal journals, including the San Diego Business Journal,National Jurist Magazine, the ABA Journal, The Wall Street Journal, The Miami Herald, Los Angeles Daily News, USA Today, The Boston Globe, The National Academy of Best-Selling Authors, and the Shreveport Times, to name a few. He has litigated, and continues to litigate, cases against some of America’s biggest corporations, including Amercian Home Products, Inc., makers of the once popular diet drug Fen-Phen;Johnson & Johnson, Inc., and, most recently, against both Merck, Inc., makers of the heart drug Vioxx, andMetabolife, Inc., the San Diego-based makers of the once popular ephedra-based diet-drug. Mark was one of the first plaintiff attorneys in the United States to successfully settle against Ford/Firestone in California and Texas in the widely-reported “tire defect/roll-over cases” in 2001.
His Legal Team...
Mark's law office is primarily comprised of a team of paralegals. He likes keeping his legal team small and approachable, and making sure his clients get his personal attention. In fact, when you become a client of his law firm, you meet with Mark directly. He never delegates a first meeting to an associate or paralegal. Since all of his clients have been injured in some way, Mark is extremely proactive in making sure he meets each and every client first. He needs to meet them face-to-face in order to accept a case. This ensures that their injury story can be told by him to the insurance company, and ultimately, if necessary, the community of neighbors (jury).
When Mark is not practicing law...
You can find Mark on one of San Diego's (or nearby) popular hiking trails, beaches, or practicing yoga at some of the many studios in the area. He enjoys the outdoors, meditation, reading, traveling, nature, and the simplicty of life when not in the courtroom. As a boy, he discovered he had a knack for languages, so today he speaks English, as a second language, German being his mother-tongue, and is a perpetual student of Spanish, and German; he also enjoys practicing his Italian whenever possible, along with the challenges of the French language, and a few others that have grabbed his fancy over the years.
