Nisan has nearly 20 years of experience counseling start-up, large pharma, and academic clients and their research and development teams about freedom to operate, patentability, patent prosecution and opposition strategies, technology licensing, collaborations, patent portfolio management, copyright compliance and transfer and other IP-related transactions. Prior to his association with the firm, Nisan practiced at Amgen for over 10 years, where he was the lead IP attorney for several product strategy teams and biosimilar product teams in the neuroscience, inflammation, cardiovascular, and metabolic therapeutic areas, and he was law team leader for manufacturing, operations & devices.
