Biography

Mariano A. Mier has been an associate attorney at Rexach & Picó since 2005, concentrating on general civil litigation, insurance regulatory law and taxation matters. A former award winning business journalist and investment broker, Mier has extensive experience in product liability and consumer affairs issues. He obtained a B.A. from Colby College in Maine in 1987 and is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico Law School. He has collaborated on several articles published by the Defense Research Institute comparing commercial and product liability laws across the United States. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Puerto Rico chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
