Donna Vincent has been practicing law since 2011, initially starting her legal career in the State of Florida.While attending law school in Florida, Donna was a law clerk for the Eighth Judicial Circuit Family Law Division Judge and Magistrate.After graduating, Donna spent over three years defending clients in various civil matters. She primarily focused on representing individuals who had temporarily lost custody of their children. Before that, she prosecuted child abuse, neglect, and abandonment cases as an attorney representing the State of Florida with the Department of Children and Families. Donna received the Circuit Attorney Award in 2012 in recognition of valuable contributions to the children, families, and the Circuit 14 community.Donna relocated to San Mateo County in 2015, where she worked as the Senior Advocates Attorney at the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County. She represented disabled adults and seniors in elder abuse cases in Superior Court. Wanting to get back into litigation and legal issues impacting children, she joined Viola Law in order to represent families seeking resolutions on custody and visitation disputes as well as other family law matters.Donna is a passionate child advocate; she has a dedicated history of working with disadvantaged youth spanning back to her two-year tenure in AmeriCorps serving at-risk youth in El Paso, Texas.
