Jack Kent Clapper

Jack Kent Clapper: Attorney with Clapper, Patti, Schweizer & Mason

In the 1960's and early 1970's, Mr. Clapper was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force and served in combat in Vietnam. After leaving the Air Force, he attended Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco in 1978 and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1978. He was admitted to the California State Bar in November 1978.

Mr. Clapper has devoted his entire career as a trial lawyer representing plaintiffs. Initially he specialized in cases involving aircraft accidents. He then began representing victims of auto accidents, various defective products, and work related injuries. He also successfully sued insurance companies for their bad faith failure to resolve claims.

In addition, Mr. Clapper is a pioneer of asbestos-litigation and is the founder of one of the first law firms in California to represent victims of mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases. Through jury verdicts and negotiated settlements, Mr. Clapper has collected millions of dollars for his clients and their families.

In forming Clapper, Patti, Schweizer & Mason, Mr. Clapper assembled a team of hardworking, dedicated individuals who make it their mission to seek and obtain justice for their clients. Under Jack Clapper's leadership and guidance, the law firm staff makes it a practice to treat each client as a unique individual, promptly respond to all client inquiries, and work tirelessly to obtain quick and successful resolution of the client's claims.

Mr. Clapper's philosophy in handling cases is to provide each client with individual attention, be diligent and thorough, and obtain just compensation for the security of the client as quickly as possible.
