Experience

Brad Harmon serves as managing partner of HunterMaclean. He has extensive experience in business litigation and has successfully represented various hospitals, financial institutions, industrial materials manufacturers, and other businesses in commercial disputes. He has also successfully defended medical care providers, trucking companies, and other businesses in personal injury lawsuits, and represented manufacturers of numerous types of products in products liability claims. Brad assists logistics, 3PL, and warehousing clients with their logistics transactional needs. He provides counsel to the Firm’s clients on OSHA matters, including contesting OSHA citations/violations on behalf of such clients. He has represented builders, subcontractors, and owners in both commercial and residential construction projects.

Brad was named a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star by Atlanta Magazine in 2007, 2009-2011, and 2013-2017; a GenerationNEXT: Rising Star of Business in 2013 by Savannah Magazine and Business in Savannah; an “On the Rise” Attorney by the Fulton County Daily Report in 2013; one of “40 Under 40” by Georgia Trend in 2015; a Legal Elite by Georgia Trend in 2016; a Georgia Super Lawyer in 2018 and 2019; and one of the Best Lawyers in America in 2018 and 2019. Brad is involved in numerous community activities, including his service on the boards of directors for Union Mission and Savannah Technical College Foundation. He is a member of the Savannah Quarterback Club and has previously served on the United Way of the Coastal Empire’s Campaign Cabinet as the co-chairman of the Attorneys Division.

Brad is admitted to practice in the State of Georgia, the State of Tennessee, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, the Savannah Bar Association, and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. He was previously a member of the Executive Committee of the Savannah Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and the chairman of the Savannah Bar Association’s Legal Directory Committee.

Originally from Sevierville, Tennessee, Brad earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee. He graduated from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2002. During law school, he was a member of the Mercer Law Review.
