Jonathan Klein maintains a law general law practice in Scarsdale, New York. Mr. Klein enjoys helping his clients vindicate their rights. He believes a lawyer can use his knowledge and experience in law to help people. That help can take many forms.
Mr. Klein represented a childhood victim of clergy sexual abuse whose case was denied because of a statute of limitations. However, that case and others created the weight of moral persuasion which eventually resulted in the Archdiocese voluntarily coming forward to compensate those who were harmed. Prosecuting the case was the right thing to do, even in the face of long odds. The voluntary admission of culpability was of greater value to many than if they had initially received a settlement without moral vindication.
Helping clients can take many forms. It may include helping clients start or buy a nail salon, a deli, a health club, or a bar. It may include planning for succession through the drafting of wills and trusts.
Each week we help families buy or sell homes. These families want to make sure their investment is protected. As attorneys, we help to protect them from unseen issues.
Mr. Klein has represented individuals who have been injured when the unnecessary risks of others has resulted in their injury. Individuals who have been injured on highways, on icy sidewalks, or on faulty stairs have turned to us to protect their interests so that they can concentrate on getting better and not have to worry about the cost of treatment or loss of income.
