Erik’s nearly ten years’ experience working in the upper reaches of the Executive and Legislative branches of Pennsylvania state government allow him to provide strategic counsel to clients confronting challenges and opportunities at the intersection of government, law, media and public policy. Erik routinely represents clients before a variety of federal and state agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the State Ethics Commission, and the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board.Erik began his legal career working for the late United States Senator Edward “Ted” Kennedy’s Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP), where he clerked for the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. There, Erik was involved in preparing investigative reports concerning the federal Reading First program of No Child Left Behind, as well marketing misconduct between the student lending industry and public universities.
