  • The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has adopted rules aimed at both modernizing the periodic reporting system and improving the usefulness of quarterly and annual reports required under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The new rules require the acceleration of quarterly and annual report due dates, and requires that a company provides access to its filing on the company's Web site.
