  • On July 25, 2002, the Nasdaq Stock Market announced approval of 25 new proposals intended to improve transparency and accountability for corporations that list their stocks on its market. Nasdaq has submitted these corporate governance reform proposals to the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) for final approval and authorization.
