  • In a release published last week (Release No. 34-50254), the Securities and Exchange Commission proposed to postpone the phase-in period for the acceleration of due dates for annual and quarterly reports filed under the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934. The proposal applies to companies categorized as "accelerated filers," which include companies that: have a public float of at least $75 million; have been subject to the Exchange Act reporting requirement for at least 12 calendar months; have filed at least one annual report.
