  • As a reminder, all National Futures Association (NFA) member firms, including commodity pool operators (CPOs), commodity trading advisors (CTAs), futures commission merchants, swap dealers, major swap participants, introducing brokers, and forex dealer members, must adopt and implement an information systems security program (ISSP) by March 1, 2016 (if they haven’t already). The ISSP should take into account the NFA’s recently approved Interpretive Notice, Information Systems Security Programs.

The NFA recently held a series of cybersecurity training workshops to assist firms in understanding and implementing these obligations, a recording and materials from which are available at https://www.nfa.futures.org/NFA-compliance/NFA-education-training/NFA-member-workshops/cybersecurity-workshop-chicago-materials-recordings-020216.HTML.
