  • The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) recently released its form of 2002 Master Agreement. Last revised in 1992, the ISDA Master Agreement has been used to document the vast majority of swaps and other derivatives transactions. The changes to the 2002 ISDA Master Agreement reflect developments and prevailing practices in the swap and derivatives markets over the last 10 years, including experience gained from the recent increase in counterparty default risk.
