Biography

Jim is a partner in the intellectual property and technology team.

He focuses on intellectual property and technology law, providing advisory, documentation, protection and enforcement services in the traditional areas of copyright, designs, patents, trademarks, trade secrets and confidential information, as well as in the intellectual property related areas of information technology, internet and computer law, communication, employment media and entertainment law. Jim’s work also involves acquisitions, joint ventures and technology transfer matters involving transnational and multi-jurisdictional clients.

Jim has been recognised as a leading individual for his expertise in Intellectual Property and noted for his practice in Information Technology in the 2019 edition of The Legal 500: Asia Pacific.
