Mitchell O’Hara was born on November 30, 1989 in Watertown, South Dakota. He attended the University of South Dakota and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy in 2012. After graduating from USD, Mitchell attended the University of Georgia School of Law located in Athens, Georgia. While attending the University of Georgia, Mitchell was a notes editor on the Journal of Intellectual Property and a Research Assistant for the UGA Law Library.
Mitchell graduated from UGA Law in 2015 and, subsequently, accepted a job as a law clerk for the Second Judicial Circuit of South Dakota. As a law clerk, Mitchell worked closely with the Second Circuit judges and court personnel and attained valuable experience on the inner workings of the judiciary. After his clerkship concluded, Mitchell joined Boyce Law Firm in August, 2016.
Mitchell’s practice is focused on general litigation practice although he does do transactional work as well. Mitchell has experience in numerous areas of law including medical malpractice, insurance defense, health care regulatory law, zoning/planning law, and bankruptcy law.
In his free time, Mitchell enjoys reading a good book, going on a run, and watching football.
