Mr. Goldstein has litigated numerous catastrophic injury cases, in a number of different contexts, including motor vehicle negligence, medical malpractice, industrial accidents, defective automotive products, and defective medical products. In the process, he has developed a special expertise and emphasis in his practice with respect to the handling of catastrophic injury claims in the context of tire failure litigation. Since the date of his first tire failure case in the late 1980's, Mr. Goldstein has successfully prosecuted more than 25 such claims and has recovered more than $50 million on behalf of victims of defective tires. Because of his acknowledged expertise in this area, Mr. Goldstein has been interviewed by national and local media - television and newspaper - to address various issues regarding tire failure litigation, and has lectured on the subject of tire defects to other attorneys around the country who specialize in automotive product liability litigation.
