Upon graduation from East Stroudsburg University, John joined the United States Marine Corps, wherein he was offered a position in the prestigious Officer Candidate School (OCS), but declined, and instead chose to earn his law degree, ultimately graduating in 1999 from Seton Hall University School of Law. Mr. Caleca was an associate attorney for two private firms - one specializing in defense, and the other, mainly representing plaintiffs. Shortly after, John acted in the capacity of Chief of Staff & Counsel to the Commissioner of the New Jersey State Board of Public Utilities.

Mr. Caleca is admitted in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, the U.S. District Court of NJ, and the Eastern District of PA. A member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Northhampton County Bar Associations, John represents hundreds of clients each year in a variety of matters.
