An experienced litigator and registered patent attorney, Richard Juang draws on a varied background spanning pharmaceuticals, life sciences, software, and emerging technologies to help clients navigate and litigate complex intellectual property issues.

As a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, Richard regularly assists clients with patent, trademark, and copyright matters, as well as all types of intellectual property litigation. Richard also handles Hatch-Watchman litigation, drawing on a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering to translate sophisticated medical and chemical concepts into winning legal strategies. His experience includes pre-trial preparation, drafting direct examination outlines for expert witnesses, handling Markman hearings, and trial assistance.

He went on to earn his L.L.M. in Intellectual Property and Technology Law. Richard earned additional experience as a legal intern with the Illinois Third Judicial Circuit, where he focused on asbestos-related matters, and as a legal intern with the United States Attorney’s Office.
