Sean E. McEleney joined LeavenLaw in 2016 as a new associate in the firm's consumer law department. Sean was born and raised in the Hartford, Connecticut area. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from Villanova University and his Masters of Arts in Accountancy from University of Phoenix, Sean worked for Ernst & Young, LLP's commercial audit department in the Boston, Massachusetts branch. Believing that he could use his strong writing skills and analytical skills to help individual clients with legal issues, Sean then entered Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. After interning for two years as LeavenLaw's consumer law clerk, Sean looks forward to using his past experiences and financial knowledge to assist LeavenLaw's clients in identifying improper or erroneous credit reporting issues, navigating the Fair Credit Reporting Act dispute process, defending credit card and debt buyer lawsuits, and pursuing unlawful debt collection claims.
