Ms. Olech joined Costello, Cooney & Fearon, PLLC in 2015 as Special Counsel. Her practice is primarily in the fields of estate planning, wills, trusts, estate administration, elder law, and business law. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Olech practiced for over 20 years with the law firm of DeLaney & O’Connor, LLP in Syracuse, New York and was a partner with the firm.
In 1984, Ms. Olech graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. and received an M.S. degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1986. Ms. Olech received her Law Degree from Western New England University in 1991. While at law school, she was on the board and served as Note Editor of the Law Review. While in law school, Ms. Olech published a tax law article: Tax Law – I.R.C. Section 2032A Special Use Valuation: Estate of Thompson v. Commissioner (1990).Ms. Olech is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Onondaga County Bar Association and the Estate and Surrogate’s Court Practice Committee. She is also a member of the Central New York Estate Planning Council and was a previous member of its Board of Directors. Ms. Olech has been a presenter for the New York State Bar Association on estate planning and business formation and has authored materials on business planning and estate planning topics.
