Biography

Jane is an Associate Attorney in the Real Estate, Business Transactions, and Immigration Practice Groups. She has extensive experience collaboratively working with corporate as well as individual clients to achieve solutions that address each client’s unique goals.

In real estate, Jane represents individuals, businesses, and non-profits in all aspects of acquisitions and sales. She advises on leasing and landlord-tenant issues. She also represents both lenders and borrowers in a broad range of finance matters and offers guidance on raising capital.

Jane works with business owners and leaders throughout the lifecycle of a company, from entity formation to corporate governance to winding-up and succession matters. She has also assisted companies with issues related to mergers and acquisitions, securities, and financing.

In addition, Jane has experience in a wide range of immigration matters. She advises clients on all types of employment-based and family-based immigration cases. She has also represented EB-5 petitioners as well as regional centers, which combines her expertise in real estate and business law with immigration law.

Prior to joining Bousquet Holstein, Jane practiced immigration law and served as in-house counsel of a commercial real estate development company in Syracuse. She is a proud graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, and Barnard College, Columbia University, where she was a political science major. While in law school, she was Lead Articles Editor of Syracuse Law Reviewand served as an intern for the Honorable Anthony J. Paris at the Onondaga County Supreme Court. Jane speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

Raised in New York City and New Jersey, Jane has put down roots in Central New York, where she has lived for almost ten years. She is passionate about children’s and immigrants’ rights and enjoys being able to give back to the community where she lives and works.
