Biography

Dixie Daimwood is an associate in the firm's Tallahassee, Florida, office. Mrs. Daimwood's extensive practice includes construction litigation, labor and employment defense, medical malpractice claims and transportation matters, among others.

Mrs. Daimwood received her undergraduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State University, and earned her J.D. from the Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. Following law school, she served as Assistant State Attorney and felony prosecutor in the State Attorney's Office. Mrs. Daimwood was then selected as Senior Attorney, Criminal Appeals Division, in the Attorney General's Office in Tallahassee.

As a Senior Appellate Attorney at the Attorney General's Office, Mrs. Daimwood represented the State of Florida before the Florida Supreme Court and First District Court of Appeal. One of her notable victories upheld the constitutionality of Florida's Sale and Delivery Statute. See Flagg v. State, 74 So. 3d 138 (Fla. 1st DCA 2011).
