Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor of Science cum laude in Political Science from Eastern Michigan University with Departmental and University Honors. During her undergraduate years, Kaitlyn competed on Eastern’s Mock Trial and Mediation Club and its nationally-ranked Moot Court Club.
Kaitlyn continued her education and earned her Juris Doctorate/Master of Business Administration (JD/MBA) from Stetson University College of Law in 2017. During law school, Kaitlyn competed on Stetson’s nationally-ranked Trial Team, earning first place at the 2015 FJA Hon. E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition, the 2016 National Civil Trial Competition, and the 2017 Chester Bedell Memorial Trial Competition. She worked as a teaching assistant for Trial Advocacy courses. Kaitlyn also served as the President of Phi Alpha Delta in 2017. Upon graduation, Kaitlyn earned the Ralph Harris Ferrell Competition Award, the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award, and the William F Blews Pro Bono Service Award, and was nominated to the National Order of Barristers.
Prior to joining the firm, Kaitlyn worked at full service firm in Miami, Florida, where she gained valuable experience in first party and third party insurance defense.
