Biography

I attended Monsignor Coyle High School, graduating in 1969, and began my legal career as a law clerk in 1974 for attorneys Leonard and Melvin Louison. I also served in the Washington, D.C. office of US Representative Stewart McKinney of Fairfield, Connecticut. Having graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Arts in politics, I went on to study law and received my Juris Doctorate in 1976 from the New England School of Law. In my career I have served as an attorney for the Taunton Redevelopment Authority since 1981 and legal counsel to the Taunton Housing Authority since 1994, representing both entities in Superior, District, and Housing Courts. Additionally, I served as special counsel to the Town of Middleboro, Massachusetts, negotiating the cable TV licenses with Comcast® and Verizon™. I served as Commissioner of the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant for 12 years, and also worked with the Taunton Cable TV Commission. I am a dedicated resident and concerned citizen who believes in community involvement and activity.
