Kaiser Permanente - Case Conclusion Date: 06.18.2015, Practice Area: Employment & Labor, Outcome: $1,750,000 plus punitive damage findings, Description: Wascher claimed the three primary complaints he raised were that there was a lack of timely access to surgery for cancer patients; that general surgeons were doing complex cancer cases they were not qualified to perform; and that there was no comprehensive cancer care program at Kaiser Orange County. Despite Wascher's complaints, he claimed that SCPMG management brushed off his concerns and terminated him.

Memorial Hospital Los Banos - Practice Area: Employment & Labor, Date: May 08, 2008, Outcome: $2,108,303, Description: Jury awarded Dr. Brannigan $2.1 million against Memorial Hospital Los Banos. Dr. Martinucci proved that Kaiser retaliated against him for attempting to improve patient care through uniform radiology procedures.

Description: Dr. Strub was accused of medical malpractice by Kaiser. Kaiser sent Dr. Strub to their own attorneys to represent him before the Medical Board. The jury found this conflict of interest was legal malpractice.
