Clare Gibbons practices with Conner & Winters’s litigation group, where she assists with both commercial and tort cases.
Prior to joining Conner & Winters full time, Ms. Gibbons worked as a law clerk for the Law Offices of Armen R. Varatian in 2016, as a Summer Associate for Conner & Winters in 2015, and as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site in 2014. Ms. Gibbons also worked for the Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Program in 2013 and 2012, where she authored award-winning grants to update the Tulsa County Courthouse’s pneumatic control system and the Tulsa County David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center’s boiler system.
Ms. Gibbons earned her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2016. She also graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2013 with a degree in political science and psychology. While at Notre Dame, Ms. Gibbons explored her interest in the legal system by studying the restorative legal processes used after genocides and working with the Red Cross of Saint Joseph County to help resettle political and religious refugees.
As a law student, Clare was an associate and articles editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies, where she was selected as an outstanding editor in 2015 and 2016. She was also Secretary for the Environmental Law Society, a Practice Group Advisor that worked with first year law students, and a volunteer for the Protective Order Project.
