Steven E. Frankel is a Partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department. Steve has broad experience in all phases of commercial litigation and has represented plaintiffs and defendants in both federal and state courts. He has handled a wide variety of matters, including those involving claims for trademark infringement, breach of contract, fraud, professional malpractice, and antitrust violations. Prior to joining the Firm, Steve worked in the Manhattan offices of other prominent law firms. He also served for one year as a law clerk to The Honorable Stanley R. Chesler of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Steve received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2004, where he was a Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. He graduated cum laude from Yeshiva University in 2000 with a degree in economics. While practicing at a prior firm, Steve co-authored a chapter titled “Due Diligence as a Litigation Defense” in the Practicing Law Institute’s handbook, Conducting Due Diligence 2006.

Steve is admitted to practice law in New York State, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
