Nicholas M. Vaartnou



Nicholas is a member of Farris’ litigation group, and primarily practices in the areas of civil, commercial, and insolvency litigation. He has represented clients before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. Nicholas also has experience in alternative dispute resolution forums, including mediation. Nicholas completed his articles with Farris and joined the firm as an associate in 2017.

Nicholas’ litigation practice involves a range of corporate and commercial matters including contractual disputes and creditors’ remedies. He has also acted for creditors in corporate bankruptcies.

Outside of work, Nicholas is a sports enthusiast and loves exploring all the west coast has to offer. You may also find him trying out the newest coffee shops in town or looking for used vinyl.
