Samantha Larkin graduated from California State University Fullerton, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Following college, Samantha attended law school at Western State University College of Law where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and finished 2nd in her class. Samantha received both the Real Estate Practice and Business Law Certificates upon graduation, earning the Distinguished Scholar honor in the later. While in law school, Samantha served as the Business Editor for her school’s Law Review and received eight Witkin Awards, for achieving the highest grade in her section, in courses such as Legal Writing and Research, Property I and II, and Negotiations.
During law school, Samantha volunteered as an advanced tax preparer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program and interned with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County’s civil litigation department. Samantha also participated in Seattle University School of Law’s study abroad program, where she spent a summer studying comparative family law in Spain.
Samantha has worked in the legal field since graduating high school, working as a legal assistant through college and participating in various internships throughout law school. Prior to joining Holstrom, Block and Parke, Samantha worked as an associate attorney for a Southern California law firm practicing primarily in business litigation and employment law, while also interning with a family law firm specializing in mediation and collaborative family law services.In her free time, Samantha enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband, daughter and dog, Cooper.
