Biography

Darius Ravangard represents issuers and investment banking firms in connection with public and private offerings of equity and debt securities and counsels public companies regarding compliance with reporting requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and corporate governance listing requirements of national securities exchanges. Darius also handles matters relating to the establishment, operation and regulation of public and private investment funds, including business development companies. More generally, Darius counsels clients with respect to the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.

Prior to re-joining Eversheds Sutherland, Darius was with a global law firm representing clients in connection with fund formations, portfolio investments, debt issuances and various corporate transactions.

During law school, Darius served as an associate summer law clerk to the Honorable Roger J. Miner of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York. While attending college, Darius was a four-year starter on Binghamton University’s Division I Men’s Soccer Team and was an Academic All-American.
