Joe is a member of the litigation practice group, where he represents members of the financial services and mortgage industries. Joe focuses on issues arising under state and federal lending laws, including the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act.Prior to joining Weiner Brodsky Kider, Joe was an associate at a firm where he worked in civil defense litigation, representing insurers and their insureds. He obtained first chair trial experience and familiarity with pre-trial litigation, including discovery and motions practice. He also represented clients in alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation. PUBLICATIONS: Co-author, Implied False Certification Liability under the False Claims Act after Escobar, Journal of Taxation and Regulation of Financial Institutions (Fall 2016).
