Lisa works with portfolio lenders, commercial banks, CMBS master and special servicers, pension fund advisers, private equity funds, government-sponsored entities and owners nationwide to find strategic and cost-efficient solutions to finance, administer and manage their commercial real estate investments and portfolios. She represents structured finance participants in the acquisition of servicing rights in public and private securitizations, and routinely handles large loan originations, assumptions and restructurings exceeding $100 million, as well as investment sales, acquisitions and joint ventures. Lisa also handled resolution of several of the largest and most complicated CMBS loan assets for special servicers during the recent financial crisis. She has represented lenders and servicers in connection with a diverse range of sophisticated servicing consents, including large sponsor assumptions, material alterations, proposed filing of a land use condominium for a regional mall, acquisition of a ground lease, and solar arrays and cell tower leases.

Lisa brings broad legal and business perspective and problem-solving skills to all aspects of real estate, real estate finance and capital markets transactions. She serves as deputy chair of Eversheds Sutherland (US)'s Real Estate Practice Group.

Represented a leading master and special servicer in commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS), single asset single borrower, agency and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) securitizations having a deal value in excess of $24.9 billion in 2018.
Represented an Asian-based investor in connection with its $130 million acquisition of a 500-acre leading conference facility resort and spa in the Washington DC metropolitan area and related wellness initiatives.
Completed interim master and special servicing agreements for balance sheet and securitized loan products with some of the country’s largest originators and securitization issuers.
Completed a $1.2 billion mortgage loan restructure on behalf of a special servicer with payment in full to holders of securitized and rake bond debt.
Closed modifications and extensions of loan facilities and subordination arrangements on multifamily properties exceeding $300 million in metropolitan Washington DC and the sale of a $149 million luxury apartment complex in Alexandria, Virginia.
Advises lenders and special servicers on defaulted loan assets throughout the country, including pari passu loan structures in multiple securitizations, comprising restructures, receiverships, foreclosures and guaranty actions.
Represented leading Washington DC-based developers in connection with several bridge/repositioning loans for re-tenanting of office complexes in suburban Washington DC.
Completed the long-term refinancing of a leading $150 million office building in Washington, DC and the defeasance of prior securitized debt.
Closed a $228 million mortgage and mezzanine financing in which the mortgage loan was secured by a 22-building office and retail portfolio located on more than 300 acres in the Midwest.
Represented government sponsored entity (GSE) on split loan documentation and co-lender servicing agreements for large multifamily loans.
Represented CMBS servicer in series of partial defeasances and a final full defeasance of $440 million loan.
