Shashi routinely assists clients with registration, reporting and SEC disclosure requirements, as well as advises on a broad range of capital market transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on and secondary offerings, and issuances of preferred stock and debt securities. Shashi also advises clients with respect to stock exchange listing requirements and ongoing corporate governance and compliance matters.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP, Shashi was the Associate General Counsel (Securities) for a large online lender, where he advised the board of directors on strategic transactions, securities laws and corporate governance matters. His previous experience includes serving as an associate at global and national law firms in Washington DC and New York City. Prior to attending law school, he was an associate at a big four accounting firm where he advised hedge funds, private equity funds and broker-dealers on federal tax matters.
