Keith Sirlin started his professional career as a staff attorney with the Oakland Legal Aid Society immediately after he passed the Michigan bar examination in November of 1977. Mr. Sirlin worked in that capacity for approximately a year and a half, at which time he went into private practice. He started the law firm Keith Sirlin & Associates, P.C., in Waterford, Michigan and is currently the senior partner of that law firm. He has extensive experience in the general practice of law and in varied and significant litigation matters.

While attending law school in Lansing, Michigan, Mr. Sirlin was employed by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulation. Prior to graduation, Mr. Sirlin obtained a real estate salesperson's license and followed with a broker's license in 1980. Keith Sirlin has been a member of the Oakland County Board of Realtors since that time doing business as Sirlin Realty and is active in the purchase, sale, management and all phases of real estate transactions for himself and his clients. During the 29 years he has practiced law, Mr. Sirlin dealt with thousands of real estate transactions, from simple residential leases to the complex transfer of multi-million dollar parcels of commercial real estate. In addition, Mr. Sirlin has a great deal of experience in the area of tax title matters. Keith Sirlin & Associates, P.C. represents the largest tax sale purchaser in Oakland County, Michigan, together with both in-state and out-of-state clients. The law firm has handled tax title cases at every level, including the district, circuit, probate and federal courts. Also, the firm has extensive experience in dealing with the Internal Revenue Service regarding tax title issues.

Mr. Sirlin is also the manager of the firm's office. He is charged with the responsibility of overseeing the quality of all legal services provided.

In 2002, Mr. Sirlin entered the business of providing residential mortgages. He partnered with a business associate to form Great Lakes Mortgages Brokers, LLC.
