Kirsten E. Bennett: Attorney with Kirsten E. Bennett, Esq.

Biography

Kirsten E. Bennett practices in criminal defense, DWI defense, and personal injury.

Ms. Bennett began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Nassau County, the largest suburban prosecutor's office in the country. As an A.D.A., Ms. Bennett prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor offenses including DWI/DWAI, violent crimes and white collar offenses. She received extensive training with respect to alcohol breath analysis and standardized field sobriety testing at the New York Prosecutor's Training Institute. Due to her years as a prosecutor, she has a keen understanding of how a case will be viewed by the prosecuting authority, and what steps can be taken to mitigate the damages and achieve the most favorable outcome for each of her clients.

Following her career with the District Attorney's Office, Ms. Bennett joined an international insurance defense firm based in New York City. From 2005-2012, Ms. Bennett handled personal injury matters, defending her varied clients from allegations of liability. As an attorney in private practice, Ms. Bennett applies the experience and knowledge gained during those years to maximize the recoveries obtained by clients who have suffered an injury.

In addition to criminal defense and personal injury, Ms. Bennett represents clients with respect to real estate matters, matrimonial and custody issues, and matters brought before the probate court. She is an attorney in good standing in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
