Biography

Matthew Bialor specializes in the defense of physicians, dentists, hospitals, nurses and other healthcare professionals. Coming from a family of doctors and dentists, Matthew has a strong and unique understanding of the complex nature of the healthcare system and the importance of providing superior legal representation during trying times.

Prior to joining WSKSA, Matthew was a judicial intern in the chambers of the Honorable Joan B. Lefkowitz of the New York Supreme Court, 9th Judicial District. During his internship, Matthew was able to observe various medical malpractice trials, oral motion practice, and assist Judge Lefkowitz in facilitating medical malpractice settlement conferences. Thereafter, Matthew was a legal intern at a Meagher & Meagher, P.C., a plaintiffs’ medical malpractice firm in Westchester County, where Matthew gained invaluable insight into the inner workings of the plaintiffs’ side of medical malpractice law. Subsequently, Matthew was a legal intern through his final year of law school at Wilson, Bave, Conboy, Cozza & Couzens, P.C., a general liability insurance defense and medical malpractice defense firm. While there, Matthew obtained invaluable hands-on experience through observing trials and depositions, and drafting nearly all types of legal documents in a fast-paced setting.
