Biography

Catherine Hines is counsel practicing in the Corporate and Tax Departments. She advises businesses and individuals on broad range of tax-related issues, including partnership and corporate taxation, entity formation, transaction planning, and executive compensation. Before joining McLane, she was a tax associate at Ropes & Gray, LLP in Boston, where her practice focused on representation of private equity fund sponsors and investors, and mergers and acquisitions.

Catherine received her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, her Masters of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, and her B.A. from Cornell University, summa cum laude. Before law school, Catherine was a senior financial analyst at Partners Healthcare System, Inc.
