Mr. R. Scott A. Johnson



Scott Johnson has practiced law in Atlanta for over 11 years. He has practiced both in the private practice law firm environment and as an in-house counsel. After graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2003, Mr. Johnson started working at a boutique firm that specialized in consumer financial services. Mr. Johnson's practice included the representation of various consumer financial service providers, including banks, mortgage companies, credit card lenders, auto dealers, and collection agencies. For those clients, Mr. Johnson handled litigation matters, provided compliance advice, drafted and negotiated various contracts, and handled employment matters.

In 2007, Mr. Johnson began working as Assistant General Counsel for a large international financial services institution. In that role, he continued handling litigation matters, managing outside counsel and also handling cases himself. In addition to litigation, Mr. Johnson handled various legal matters for the company including transactional matters, leasing, employment, regulatory issues, and others. Mr. Johnson also worked on compliance for all of the company's financial products in 22 states, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom.

Mr. Johnson continues to use his litigation skills and experience to help businesses and consumers with all types of litigation matters.
