Mr. Jung, an associate in the Firm's Corporate group, concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, federal and state securities law, commercial finance transactions and other general commercial matters. He has represented banks and borrowers, private equity funds, hedge funds and operating companies in equity raises.
Mr. Jung has represented purchasers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions including the $21 million acquisition of heavy equipment dealer and the $42 million sale of a manufacturer. He also drafts and negotiates terms and conditions of sales for clients and negotiates service and vendor contracts for non-profit organizations. Mr. Jung also has reviewed and drafted general corporate documents, such as operating agreements, employment agreements, redemption agreements, resolutions, and intellectual property assignment letters.
Mr. Jung received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003. Mr. Jung earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2006, where he was a Lincoln Scholar. During law school, he served as Section Editor and later, Managing Editor of The Illinois Business Law Journal. Mr. Jung also served as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Illini Media Company, an independent non-profit corporation that operates a newspaper, radio station, yearbook, and various online media.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Jung practiced at a business law firm in Chicago in its corporate, securities, and finance practice groups. He is licensed to practice in Illinois.
