Practice/Industry Group Overview
The attorneys in our Admiralty and Maritime Practice are experienced in a full range of maritime matters including those related to maritime commerce, such as contracts of affreightment, charter parties, and traditional admiralty litigation pertaining to collision, personal injury, wrongful death, cargo damage, and salvage. We also handle ship financing and ship construction projects either on behalf of banks, other lending institutions and pension funds, or ship owning corporations. In addition to representing clients in administrative hearings before federal, state, and local agencies concerned with maritime affairs, we regularly handle maritime mediation and arbitration.
