Biography

Chris has been practicing for 23 years concentrating in the area of administrative law with an emphasis in matters pertaining to energy and natural resources. He has represented participants in numerous areas of the utilities industry, including competitive retail providers, independent power producers, power marketers, investor-owned and public power utilities, and customers. Chris has focused on regulatory litigation and appeals involving a broad range of issues, including compliance and enforcement, commercial disputes, development related matters, and certification.

Chris participated extensively in the negotiations and contested cases of the Texas Public Utility Commission, in order to implement its 1999 electric industry restructuring legislation. In addition to regulatory matters, he advises clients on power plant development and financing issues and represents power industry clients in commercial litigation.

Before joining Husch Blackwell, he was a Partner at Brown McCarroll.
