Christopher R. K. Cawley is an associate in the firm's Tax Department. Kip represents clients in a variety of transactional and planning contexts. He has experience organizing business entities; structuring business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, spin-offs and joint ventures; and advising clients on the U.S. tax consequences of international business transactions. In addition, Kip has experience representing taxpayers through all stages of federal, state and local audit, appeals and tax litigation processes.
Prior to joining Foley Hoag, Kip practiced in the tax department of another national law firm and was of counsel to a tax boutique firm specializing in international tax matters.
