Juarez was born in Georgia on February 1, 1958. He was admitted to the Colorado Bar, the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit, in 1983; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in 1984; and the New Mexico Bar in 2005. Mr. Juarez received his B.A. from Loyola Marymount University in 1980 and his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1983. He is a member of the Adams County and Broomfield County Bar Associations, the Colorado Bar Association (Vice President, 2002), the Colorado Women's Bar Association, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the Sam Cary Bar Association, and the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar. Mr. Juarez was an Adjunct Professor of Ethics, University of Denver College of Law from 2000 to 2003, and he was named as the Hispanic Lawyer of the Year, Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, 2002.
