Derek P. Roussillon maintains a general litigation practice primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense. Derek provides litigation services in a wide variety of matters arising out of business and commercial disputes, as well as governmental inquiries and internal investigations. Derek also has experience in products liability and toxic tort litigation. Additionally, Derek handles various litigation matters for numerous national retailers in both state and federal court.
Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, Derek worked for a large Baltimore/Washington D.C. law firm and was involved in the representation of an international pharmaceutical company. Before attending law school, Derek worked as a claims adjuster for a Fortune 500 insurance company, where he managed, resolved and settled coverage and liability disputes relevant to environmental and toxic tort litigation. Derek graduated Cum Laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he served as Managing Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review.
