Duane Morris represents venture capital funds, funds-of-funds, private equity funds, later-stage funds, distressed funds, offshore funds and funds focused on a variety of specific industries.

Our attorneys have broad experience in organizing private equity funds and representing fund sponsors with capital-raising efforts both domestically and internationally. Additionally, Duane Morris represents lead investors in the creation of specific private equity funds. In structuring funds, our Corporate attorneys work closely with our Securities, Tax, International, Employment and Compliance attorneys to form funds and management companies that are tax efficient and compliant with the complex maze of securities regulations that govern private equity funds. We strive to optimize tax structures to maximize after tax returns.

After fund formation, Duane Morris provides counsel and guidance on the common challenges funds and their management companies face as they grow and make investments.
