George R. Hirsch is a Member of the Firm's Creditors' Rights/Bankruptcy Reorganization Practice Group. Prior to joining Sills Cummis & Gross, Mr. Hirsch was Chair of the Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice at Bressler, Amery & Ross. Mr. Hirsch concentrates his practice on insolvency matters and business litigation involving corporate, commercial, intellectual property, franchise, and real estate issues. He has extensive out of court workout experience as well as trial experience in State and Federal courts, including jury trials to verdict. In addition to frequent representation of secured creditors including banks, other lenders and leasing companies, Mr. Hirsch guides business debtors through complex reorganizations. He regularly serves as counsel to creditors, trustees, committees, and parties seeking to acquire estate assets. Mr. Hirsch also acts in an advisory capacity to clients and other attorneys in non-litigated commercial matters. Mr. Hirsch began his career as Law Clerk to the Honorable Frank H. Freedman, U.S. District Judge, District of Massachusetts.
