GrayRobinson's Eminent Domain team has handled thousands of eminent domain cases on behalf of our public and private clients. Our team has earned a reputation for being innovative and tenacious while remaining frank and reasonable. The team has grown to comprise 15 attorneys located in our offices across Florida. Our team focuses on unique qualities of the property being taken in order to maximize the compensation our clients receive and minimize any damage the taking causes. Representing Property Owners

Our team members' energies are focused on two issues: first, we coordinate with the condemning authority to lessen the impact of the taking on our clients' property and business. Second, where that is not possible, we work diligently to secure the highest amount allowable under the law to compensate our clients for the damages they are suffering.

Representing Condemning Authorities

While we primarily represent property owners, our experience "on the other side of the fence" (representing condemning authorities) gives our team insight into the issues and concerns that are considered by a taking authority in compensating our clients. As a result, in many instances we are able to present the property owner's case in a manner that the taking authority better understands, appreciates and can justify. This is particularly true in providing the justification necessary for substantial settlements for property owners.
